Xurya, a pioneering company in the Solar Power Plant (PLTS) rental scheme with no initial cost, announced an important achievement on its 6th anniversary. Xurya has succeeded in building more than 100 MW of PLTS power capacity spread across almost 200 projects throughout Indonesia. Through the PLTS rental scheme with no initial cost pioneered by Xurya, more than 100 companies have been helped to start using solar energy, thereby supporting efforts to reduce carbon emissions in Indonesia. This achievement is not only about the power capacity achieved, but also a symbol of change. Eka Himawan, Managing Director of Xurya, said, "Every MW installed is very meaningful. This is real proof that Indonesia is moving in a better direction, towards a sustainable future." Since its inception, Xurya has been committed to supporting the energy transition carried out by the government and playing an active role in achieving the energy mix target of 25% by 2030. Not only a pioneer in innovative business schemes, Xurya is also a pioneer in the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) for remote monitoring and management of PLTS, as well as the application of machine learning to optimize system performance. These innovations not only increase energy efficiency, but also ensure better system reliability and safety for PLTS users. In addition to innovative technology and business models, collaboration is also the main key to this achievement. Xurya is able to carry out projects efficiently and on time through collaboration with more than 150 local EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) partners. As part of its strategic steps, Xurya is also committed to continuing to empower local human resources (HR) and build an ecosystem that supports the national energy transition. As part of this effort, in the past few years, Xurya has collaborated with various communities, educational institutions, and other private parties in organizing technical training. This includes being one of the pioneers of the Solar Academy Indonesia, together with Huawei Indonesia and JJ-Lapp Indonesia. "We believe that close collaboration can accelerate the use of solar energy in Indonesia. Through synergy with partners and other stakeholders, I am confident that we will not only achieve the energy mix target in 2030, but also create a much more significant economic and environmental impact," added Eka. To date, Xurya has successfully won various national and international awards. In addition to being selected in the Forbes Asia 100 Companies to Watch 2023, in 2024 Xurya has been B Corp Certified, as proof of the implementation of high ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) standards. In addition, Xurya also won the 2024 ESG Award from the Kehati Foundation for the Best Impact Entrepreneur Category. All of Xurya's achievements were achieved with the support of 100% local employees totaling more than 100 people spread across four major cities: Jakarta, Medan, Semarang, and Surabaya. Eka said, "We believe that energy solutions for Indonesia must be built by Indonesians. The Xurya team is real proof that this nation has the capacity to lead the clean energy transition in its own country." "This achievement is just the first step in Xurya's journey. In the future, we will continue to be a pioneer in providing more affordable, innovative, and reliable renewable energy solutions. Our mission is to create a future where clean energy is the norm, not an option," Eka concluded.
